Advanced

The Advanced section contains organization-level actions that permanently affect your Chisel Tide account. These actions are placed separately from routine configuration options because they cannot be reversed.

Danger Zone

The Advanced page displays a single section called Danger Zone. This area contains the Delete Organization action, which permanently removes your entire Chisel Tide organization and all associated data.

Deleting your organization is permanent and irreversible. There is no undo for this action, and Chisel Tide support cannot restore deleted organizations or data.

Delete Organization

The Delete Organization button removes your Chisel Tide organization entirely. When you trigger this action:

  • All customers and their property records are permanently erased.

  • All routes and assigned stops are deleted.

  • All service history, including visit records, photos, and notes, is removed.

  • All invoices and billing records are deleted.

  • All team member accounts associated with your organization are removed.

  • The organization record itself is permanently deleted.

Confirming organization deletion

To protect against accidental deletion, Chisel Tide requires a confirmation step:

  1. Click Delete Organization in the Danger Zone section.

  2. A confirmation modal appears with the warning "This action cannot be undone".

  3. Type the word DELETE exactly (case-sensitive) into the confirmation field.

  4. Click Delete Organization to proceed.

During processing, the button displays "Deleting...". Once complete, you are logged out automatically and the organization is permanently removed.

The confirmation text must match exactly. Type DELETE in all capital letters with no spaces or additional characters.

Before you delete

If you need to remove your organization but preserve important records:

  • Export any invoices, customer data, or service history you need for your records before deleting.

  • Inform your team members that they will lose access immediately.

  • Consider downgrading or canceling your subscription instead if you want to temporarily stop using Chisel Tide while preserving your data.
