Magic links are single-use. Once you tap a link, it becomes invalid. If you try to use the same link again, return to the sign-in screen and enter your email to request a new one.
Mobile App Sign In
The Chisel Tide Technician App uses passwordless authentication. You sign in with a magic link sent to your work email—no password required. This is the same approach used across Chisel Tide, designed to be secure and eliminate forgotten passwords.
You can only sign in if your company has invited you to join their Chisel Tide account. Use the same email address that received the invitation. Sign-in will not work with a different email.
How to sign in
Open the Chisel Tide app on your phone or tablet.
On the sign-in screen, enter your work email address in the [email protected] field.
Tap Sign In.
Check your email inbox for a message from Chisel Tide. The app will show a confirmation: "We sent a sign-in link to [your email]".
Tap the link in the email. This opens the app and completes sign-in.
Once authenticated, the app takes you to your main tabs view where you can access your route, inventory, history, and profile.
Magic links expire after 15 minutes. If you don't tap the link within that window, you'll need to request a new one.
If you don't see the email within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. The email is sent immediately, but spam filters can delay delivery.
Already signed in
If you tap a magic link while already signed in, the app recognizes your session and takes you directly to your tabs. You don't need to sign in again.
Error messages
If something goes wrong during sign-in, you'll see one of these messages:
This sign-in link is invalid or has already been used
This sign-in link has expired. Please request a new one.
Links expire after 15 minutes. Open the app, go to the sign-in screen, and enter your email again to receive a fresh link.
No account found for this email address. Please contact your administrator.
There's no Chisel Tide account associated with the email you entered. Make sure you're using the correct work email—the one your company used when setting up your technician account. If you're unsure, contact your dispatcher or office staff.
Too many sign-in attempts. Please wait and try again later.
You've requested multiple magic links in a short period. Wait a few minutes before trying again. This limit helps protect against abuse.
Unable to reach the server. Check your internet connection and try again.
The app couldn't connect to Chisel Tide. Make sure you have cellular data or Wi-Fi available, then try again. The app can work offline once you're signed in, but you need a connection to complete the initial authentication.
Something went wrong. Please try again.
An unexpected error occurred. Wait a moment and try again. If the problem persists, contact your dispatcher or office staff.
What's next
After signing in, you'll land on your Route tab where you can see today's assigned stops. From there you can navigate to Inventory to manage chemicals on your truck, History to review past visits, or Profile to view your account details.
