General

The General section in Settings is where you configure your core company profile: your logo, business contact information, timezone, and address. These settings control how your company appears across the admin dashboard, customer portal, invoices, and customer communications.

Access General settings

From the admin dashboard, click Settings in the left navigation. The General section opens by default when you first access Settings. You can also select General from the left sidebar under the Company group.

After making changes, click Save Changes in the top right. The button shows Saving... while processing and changes to Saved when complete.

Your logo represents your business across Chisel Tide. It appears in:

  • The admin dashboard header

  • Customer notifications and emails

  • Customer-facing invoices

If you haven't uploaded a logo yet, click Upload to add one. If you already have a logo, the button changes to Replace.

File requirements:

  • Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, WebP, SVG

  • Maximum file size: 5MB

Recommended: Use a square PNG or SVG at least 256×256 pixels. Square logos display best across different contexts like emails, invoices, and mobile devices.

Click Remove to delete your current logo. The system shows a placeholder until you upload a new one.

If your logo appears pixelated or off-center, try uploading a larger square image. SVG files scale perfectly at any size and are ideal for logos.
