The Profile Tab

The Profile tab is your account management area in the Chisel Tide mobile app. From here, you can view your technician profile, switch the app's language between English and Spanish, and sign out when you're done using the app.

What you'll see on the Profile tab

When you open the Profile tab, you'll see your technician information organized into several sections.

Profile header

At the top of the screen, you'll see your profile photo (or your initials if no photo has been added), your name, and your email address. An Active status badge appears if your technician account is currently active.

Performance stats

Below your profile header, three summary tiles show your performance metrics:

  • Rating — Your average customer rating displayed to one decimal place (for example, ★ 4.8)

  • Jobs — The total number of service visits you've completed

  • Completion — Your route completion rate as a percentage

Customer profile

This section displays customer-facing information about you, including:

  • Your bio (a short introduction visible to customers)

  • Years of experience in pool service

  • A fun fact about you

  • Specialties — specific skills or services you focus on, shown as chips

If any fields haven't been filled in, you'll see placeholder messages indicating the information is not yet added.

Contact info

Your official contact details are displayed read-only:

  • Official name (your full legal name, separate from any display name)

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • Hire date

Certifications

If you hold professional certifications, they appear in this section with:

  • Certification name

  • Issuing organization

  • Expiration date

If a certification has passed its expiration date, an Expired badge appears next to it. If you don't have any certifications on file, the section shows an empty state message.

Skills

Your professional skills are listed with level badges indicating your proficiency:

  • Expert — Highest proficiency level

  • Advanced — Intermediate-high proficiency

  • Intermediate — Developing proficiency

Like certifications, an empty state message appears if no skills have been added to your profile.

Switch the app language

The Profile tab includes a language selector that lets you switch the app interface between English and Spanish. Your selection updates immediately across the app.

  1. Scroll to the language selector section.

  2. Tap English or Spanish to select your preferred language.

  3. The app updates right away—no need to save or restart.

Your language preference is saved to your profile, so it persists across sessions and devices.

Sign out

When you're finished using the app, you can sign out from the Profile tab. Signing out returns you to the sign-in screen.

  1. Scroll to the bottom of the Profile tab.

  2. Tap Sign out.

  3. A confirmation dialog appears. Tap Sign out again to confirm, or tap Cancel if you changed your mind.

After signing out, you'll need to sign in again to access your routes and complete service visits.

You don't need to sign out between shifts. The app stays signed in, so you can open it and pick up where you left off on your next work day.

App version

At the very bottom of the Profile screen, you'll see the app version number. This is useful if support asks which version you're running during troubleshooting.
