Notifications
Under Settings > Notifications, owners and admins pick the team members who receive each scheduled report by email and can also post the report to your connected Slack alerts channel. Scheduled reports are the reports the Operate assistant writes on a schedule, such as the Morning Briefing; they land under Operate > Insights (see The Operate assistant).
Only owners and admins can change report delivery. Other roles that open this card see the current settings but their changes are rejected.
Open the Scheduled Report Recipients card
Each scheduled report has its own recipient list and Slack option, configured separately in the Scheduled Report Recipients card in Settings.
From the admin dashboard, open Settings and go to the Notifications section.
Find the Scheduled Report Recipients card. It sits below the general notification recipients card and above the Slack Alerts section.
Choose who receives a report by email
Every scheduled report in the card has its own recipient picker labeled with the report's name, such as Morning Briefing. Pick the team members who should receive that report by email.
Changes save automatically, so there is no save button.
An empty box means nobody is emailed.
Only active organization members can be selected. Customer portal users and deactivated team members are not valid recipients.
Both delivery options start switched off, so a new report reaches no one until you add recipients here.
Also post a report to Slack
Below each report's recipients is an Also post to Slack checkbox. When ticked, the report is posted to your connected Slack alerts channel in addition to any email recipients.
If you have not connected a Slack alerts channel yet, connect one in the Slack Alerts section below the card first. Until a channel is connected, a ticked checkbox posts nowhere.
Set up delivery for a report that is switched off
Scheduled reports that are currently disabled still appear in the card, labeled with "(switched off)", so you can choose recipients in advance. No runs happen and nothing is delivered until the report is switched back on under Operate > Skills.
